Time for spring cleaning, but who wants to throw out perfectly good art supplies that they really don't need? No one, of course!
To celebrate Earth Day, the FV Arts Council presents a way to recycle supplies that are no longer needed, or were an excess of what was needed for a project. Bring your slightly used and unused art supplies to the Supply Swap. Suppliers will be given "art dollars" in exchange for their supplies that can be used to buy other supplies at the event. (thus making the swapping easier) Any unspent "art dollars" can be converted to a tax deductible charity receipt. If you do not have supplies to donate, but would like to take advantage of the deals, real money will also be accepted for the art supplies. **credit cards will not be accepted**
All supplies "swapped in" become the property of the Arts Council. Supplies that are not purchased may be used for Arts Council programs, or may be donated to local art programs and classrooms.
Art demonstrations will go on throughout the night, and light refreshments will be served.
