Golden Gates Russian Song and Dance Performance

You are invited to enjoy an International Cultural Experience, a complimentary performance of The Golden Gates,  brought to you in cooperation with the Fuquay-Varina Arts Council, Fuquay-Varina Downtown Rotary club, and Stars Theater and Arts Center.

The Golden Gates 2014 US Tour, made up of some of the most talented student performers from both Russia and Georgia, will be visiting our area.  Since landing in NY, they have traveled thousands of miles and performed in cities across the US.  As they traverse back east from the San Diego area, they will take a few days in Fuquay-Varina.  Vitaliy Bezrodnov, a Fuquay-Varina area resident, is their agent, tour leader, driver and a fellow performer.   Vitaliy is active in both the local Rotary as well as a part of the F-V Arts Council.  Families from the Fuquay-Varina area have hosted students during this tour for the last 8 years.

The Golden Gates Performers represent the costume, music and dance from their home countries of Russia and Georgia.  They cover and earn their own expenses and all profits go into the Rotary Children’s Fund which has provided help to several orphanages in need throughout many parts of the world. 

Their performance is exciting and educational.  It is something great for the whole family.  Immediately after the performance there will be a reception in the Stars Ballroom to meet and welcome these students on their cultural exchange. 

This event is free of charge, and all are encouraged to join us for this very special occassion at Stars Theater and Arts Center.
