2021 Ann Mayer Scholarship for Students in the Arts

The Fuquay-Varina Arts Council is honored to name the 2021 FVAC Student Scholarship after Ann Mayer.  

Ann has a been a longtime member and supporter of the FVAC.  Her time, endeavors and dedication has made a significant impact for artists in the community and surrounding areas.  Oils and and soft patels are the mediums she enjoys most and landscapes, seascapes and flowers are her favorite subjects.  The FVAC thanks Ann for her continued involvement in the art community.  

Purpose

The Fuquay-Varina Arts Council is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization.  It is our mission to cultivate vibrant communities by supporting emerging artists through education, engagement and exhibition.  We do not discriminate on the basis of race, ability, sexual orientation, or gender expression, to the extent prohibited by law.  The FVAC offers this scholarship to provide funds for a graduating high school senior to pursue higher education in an arts-related field. 

2021 Award

This is a one-time award for $500, which will be paid directly to the student’s account at their chosen accredited institution of higher learning.
