Celebrate Fuquay-Varina Festival: Artists Village

The Fuquay-Varina Arts Council is excited to coordinate the Artists Village of the Celebrate Fuquay-Varina Festival on October 6, 2018 in Historic Downtown Fuquay's Arts District.

This highly successful, FREE, family-friendly festival was attended by over 10,000 visitors in 2017, and is a combination of live entertainment, children & youth activities, classic cars, fabulous food, and an Artists' Village show and sale. 

The Artists Village is open to all artisans/crafts-persons who create and exhibit work of their own original concept, design and execution for sale. (For resale items, distributors are instead encouraged to apply for a Merchant Vendor booth at http://www.celebratefv.com/sponsors-vendors/ ) Registrants are subject to FVAC's review of their website/social media link displaying examples of their work to ensure they are the original artist or maker. Our goal is to provide the best possible mix of artists' offerings within the Artists Village, both for the pleasure of festival-goers, and also to provide an optimal setting for artists sales potential. In order to achieve an ideal balance of mediums and styles of work, FVAC reserves the right to wait-list registrants.

Artist vendor booths are $75 for FV Arts Council Members, and $100 for non-members for a 10'x10' space located in the street fair in Fuquay-Varina. Additional, adjacent spaces are available for $100. 

North Carolina law requires that all artisans and vendors collect and remit sales tax on the items they sell, display the NC Certificate of Registration issued by the state with their state tax ID in their booths, and provide their state tax ID number to the event organizer. To apply for a Certificate of Registration, please go to https://www.ncdor.gov/ and search NC-BR. Once you begin the application, you may select to only apply for Sales and Use Tax purposes.
